Right, I want to remove the pipes off my bike to give them a nice polish up...thought it would be a simple job but turns out that these things won't budge! Removed the springs holding it all together but no matter how much I try to loosen them they won't come off.
I can't remove the whole lot in one go as one of the three bolts holding the flange to the casing is inaccessible until the pipes have been removed entirely. As such to remove them I'm forced to take it all apart whilst still on the bike...but how does one do this?
I've tried heating the outer half and cooling the inner bits; no help.
Also used a shitload of CRC to loosen the joins up too; still no luck.
So does anyone please have any ideas on how one goes about removing these damn things?!
