    Oversized pistons

If one of my pistons has cracked badly and I want to get a new one do I need to get an oversized one? im not worried about performance just want it to go cheap as possible. will a new standard sized piston fit in without boring the cylinder, cheers

Thats really tricky... you have to consider the bore, not the piston. Measure it to find your answer.

ie... we want a hole... but we cant buy one... next best is we buy a drill.

It's unlikely that your cylinder bore survived a piston disintegration but you never know your luck. If the bore only needs a hone you might get away with a stock size piston.
What is more important is why the piston blew in the first place. Something is likely to blame that needs fixing.
    Insert witticism.
