Yep, so if they topped up at either then they would have enough petrol to get to taupo from there probably. I'll meet you guys in te kuiti.

I think I remember passing a Petrol station around Mangakino/Whakamaru. I'll see if one is listed in the Yellow Pages, but if someone with more local could confirm that it might help those with shorter ranges.

F*ck it the listing was wrong in the Yellow Pages Thats at Putaruru, but they did give me the address for the Service Station in Whakamaru (Whakamaru Energy Centre, cnr Main & Tihoi Rds, Whakamaru, Mangakino 0-7-882 8817, http://www.yellowpages.co.nz/quick/s...+Energy+Centre). Will ring them to see if they are open on Sundays.

Pretty sure that all bikes would be able to get atleast 200kms to a tank. So as long as they fill up at te kuiti or otorohonga that should see them right till taupo.

Hey Spankme - any chance you can add these confirmed times to the events listing so folks don't have to search through to here?

they are now called "Whakamaru Gas", are open 8am-5pm 7days/week (so they will be open on Sunday) and are on the corner of SH30 And SH32. This would be a good stop, so I recommend Fuel departing AK, then Otorohanga and then at Whakamaru. This will allow for those with a stort range and still leave you gas for the track (which is about 65Km from Whakamaru). Remember it can take about 10-15mins to fuel and pay, so don't muck around too much at the Service stations. Please fuel, shift your bike, and then pay so the next one can get started
I might not be able to make the run as my parents need the dog feed on Sunday night and Monday Morning (they are staying out for the night on Sunday), but I'll see closer to the time.

Meet at fueling point in Otorohanga (put Service Station name here). Pap to Nga was about 3/4hr . It's about 71Km to Otorohanga via SH39 from Ngaruawahia (say 1hr max). If they leave Pap Autobarn by 8am they should be at Ngaruawahia 8:45/8:50, and at/leaving Otorohanga by 9:45am, so I'd aim at arriving at Otorohanga by 9:30am You could try taking the Raglan rd (SH23) and then go down SH39 and look out for us coming down 39 from 9am to 9:15 (don't wait if we have not past by 9:15, go straight to Otorohanga and check if we have been through at the Service Station).
