I had an AWESOME weekend motorcycling! Did over 800kms on both the Superduke and then the ZX14.
Any of you lot log off and do what this site is actually about?

I did 700 on the 14 too.... damn I love the new toy..

Just a point for clarification, is saying "shut the fuck up" okay ?
and is saying "Fuck Off" not okay (because I got infracted for the later you see)

I guess 'shut the fuck up' is less agressive that 'Fuck off'

mmmm I guess so, but telling someone to "shut the fuck up" on a internet forum kinda goes against the grain really, it says you can be here but you cant say anything...................fuck off is more appropriate as you are saying go away permanetly and cannot say anything.

I guess its a tuff call, no wonder Mods have such a hard time interpreting the rules against there own agenda's

I think there are to many little loopholes and freckin obstacles on KB, keep it simple stupid, is the way these things should be run, no wonder Frosty had trouble, fuck knows I did.

Maybe an idea would be to run a Kiwibiker Mod course at Massy or something, this might help the Mods understand what to do, with this silly government you would get a student loan for it no probs, I think this would be far better than the current system of Mod Educational processes.
And to go one step further perhaps we as members could take a KB members course so we can learn the rules and loopholes etc, have a few advanced papers on subjects like, dispute resolution, understanding your Mod, etc etc , I think there would be alot of bennifit for the site.

Yes a ultimatmum was sent due to an increasing amount of frustration with Frosty and his style of modding and I have no doubt it could have been worded better

Now did everyone read Hitchers post about what was happening when he was senior mod or did you all just skip that bit and would still like to think it was over a couple a incidents?

There's no doubt this could have been handled better, but you know what the end result would have been the same He still would have been removed and everyone would still be bitching

I think most of us realised early on that the 'reasons' for the sacking go way back. The announcement by Frosty did come out of left field for all of us, apart from (some of) the mod team. This, and the bit about 'not being welcome here any more', was a huge shock, precipitating a whole heap of aggrieved support for Frosty, factored by what many feel is unfair dealings by certain mods over time. With an already existing groundswell of dislike and resistance to 'the hidden agenda' - well, you get the picture. I, for one, appreciate your candour above - but did it really have to take this long?? Perhaps you too will learn from this, and realise that sometimes the greater good is served by doing nothing. After all, will the KB community be as well-served by Frosty's replacement??

It is with great regret that I must report I have been fired as a moderator on this web site.
Being perfectly clear here the decision was not mine nor made by SpankMe
KB has been a big part of my life for several years.
It has been made clear to me by the person responsible by PM and by e mail that reasoned discussion is not an option and I am no longer welcolm on this site.
I must add that this is not the message sent to me by the senior mod team as has been alluded to but a pm sent 24 hours earlier giving a pretty clear ultimatum -and asking a decision to be made between two moderating personel.
Due to the fact it contravenes the rules of the site I cannot post the discussions on a public forum however I am more than happy to give my permission for said PM to be made public knowledge
Im genuinely sorry folks and again the decision wasn't mine but was made for me

Here we had a six-post veteran who appeared out of nowhere (most probably an alias) to aggressively troll and slag people off, rather than contributing to the thread in a constructive manner. My comment suggested that that person endeavour to make a useful contribution or STFU. I have offered the same words of advice to trolls before, and probably will again.

After mate, like a couple of weeks ago, Im okay now, after a bit of counselling I managed my way through the process.
it seemed okay to be recieving abuse but It was deemed that I could not give it.

Have to say for the RECORD, I find it completely outrageous that Frosty has been told he is not welcome here anymore, irespective of whatever has gone on in the background between him and the Mods and no matter how the Mod team are trying to justify it ,THAT is disgraceful.
I dont even need to go into the details of what he has done to unite us with his trackdays etc, without which half of us would still be strangers to each other, its guys like Frosty that make KB great, not Mods and the politics !!

Yeah but he hasn't. He was asked to stand down from the Moderating team. Not told to throw his toys out of the cot and wind everyone up and then start telling everyone to leave it alone when it became apparent that he was most definitely welcome to continue contributing in the way that makes him such a good bloke to have on KB.
