I reckon the secrecy is the problem.
A famous quote goes like this: "Justice must not only be done, it must be SEEN to be done".

On KB no visible justice is present. We never see what moderators do to abusers and it seems they just continue to abuse and inflame. Until the secret squirrel bullshit ends, people will always become pissed off with constant attacks on them personally and will eventually react.

The system itself is at fault.
We will be asymulated, exterminate, exterminate.............

We all have a choice. We can let some one piss us off or ignore them..........the Mods apply the rules as best they can and it is not down to them that the abuser feels abused........

To a point I guess but education is all about academics etc and it is all programmed which life is not about.................when you get your test paper you have revised the subject and sometimes see old papers to give you an idea of how the paper is formatted..............in life you don't get this.............I am sure you did not get where you are today because of school..............

    Well...

We are all humans. Moderators and non-moderators. We all have feelings and some things do affect us more then others. We all make mistakes. To admit that you have made a mistake is what makes you different.

I have no interest in knowing what goes on behind the scene between the moderators. I came aboard and accepted the rules. If I do not like them I am free to leave. Or I can buy the site and install my own rules.

Keep up the good work. I have no complaints. Correct me when I step out of line. It is the easy solution as I have not read the rules. But sofar I can not see that there would be a difficoulty here.

I was on a US technical site that I found very useful re serious stuff. There was a discussion about some technical calculations that went right over my head. When I asked some qustions they asked me re my qualifications, and after telling them honestly I was kicked out as I did not hold the qualifications needed to be there...

May the bridges I burn light the way.

self-regulation is the golden rule. We're all growed up and mature there, and is things get out of hand you're only likely to cop a serve of abuse or told to fuck off. However, because most inmates are the rowdy funlovin' reprobate type that's highly unlikely.
Just like the good old days...

I mean, FFS, an infraction for posting in the wrong forum?
Why can't the mods just move it, if it is such a big problem?
Its kind of like hitting a carpet tack with a freakin sledge hammer, don't you think????

Well, that's one thing that hasn't changed then which undermines your contention! My only infraction was earned about 18 months ago when Spank moderated and he pinged me for posting in the wrong forum. So there you go....... things maybe don't change as much as you think.(FFS)
