What a trip that is........Great trip, great experience

Well you saved me a job with that excellent write up.
It really was a great afternoon/evening ride (mental note for next time, start a little earlier) For most of the ride I felt in a nice smooth groove, motivated by the need to ensure my little tank made the distance. And it did

The bike is not a tourer by any stretch, but it really is fun to ride. Looking forward to the Taupo track days now
