    Radiohead

    "Creep (Acoustic)"

    When you were here before
Couldn't look you in the eye
    You're just like an angel
    Your skin makes me cry
    You float like a feather
    In a beautiful world
    I wish I was special
    You're so fucking special
    But I 'm a creep
    I 'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
    I don't belong here

I don't care if it hurts
    I want to have control
    I want a perfect body
    I want a perfect soul
    I want you to notice
    When I'm not around
    You're so fucking special
    I wish I was special

    But I'm a creep
    I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
    I don't belong here

    She's running out again
    She's running out
    She run, run, run run
    Run

    Whatever makes you happy
    Whatever you want
    You're so fucking special
    I wish I was special
    But I'm a creep
    I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
    I don't belong here
    I don't belong here.

personally I relate loads to Radiohead's music... they're quite possibly one of the best bands of all time in my book...

what do you guys think of them??

Overrated proto-emo rubbish. Waste of publishing fees.

Don't make me say what I REALLY think.

I LOVE Radiohead! They're sooooo good live too

Fake Plastic Trees was one I related to so much when my ex and I split up (and I still love the song, only now it's got a good vibe!), but Creep is one of my all time faves.

So many Friday nights were spent dancing away in my favourite Indie club in Manchester (5th Avenue) to this sort of music - some people call it depressing, but I find it quite the opposite

I guess to really appreciate it, you've maybe had to grow up with it - and Manchester was a real hub for the early Indie scene (not that Radiohead are a Manc band of course....). Hubby definitely doesn't understand my love of the genre, LOL

(James are my ALL TIME fave band, but Radiohead and Stereophonics are close behind!)

I love Radiohead. Nothing to do with what the sing about, just love the way it sounds. It strikes a chord with me

So do the acoustic lyrics read different to the other version's lyrics CurAJ?

The MEN Arena (or whetever they changed its name to - will always be the MEN arena to me!).

Some of the best concerts I ever went to were at the Apollo tho - much smaller venue, but big enough to get the big names (the Levellers were GREAT there!!!! As were Stereophonics...and James....and the Charlatans...and the Saw Doctors and......oh...too many to mention!). God I miss concerts! Good bands that you could go and see on an almost weekly basis cos it didn't cost an arm and a leg and you could actually get tickets cos it wasn't a once-in-a-blue-moon event.

Nah, it's not just about the words - it's the sound as well. The words are admittedly a depressing read but the song's great
