Burning DVD movies

I want to burn some .avi, .mpg and .flv videos to a DVD. I'm trying to use the "DVD Video" option in Nero so the dics will play in any normal DVD player so I don't want to burn a data disc, but Nero says I need to use some DVD authoring software or something along those lines. What software do I need to make a DVD video?

one of the easiest i have used is convertXtodvd

is also what i use to convert avi to dvd.

Being a flv you will have to conver that to avi before using vso.

If you have Nero, check if you have Nerovision included, this will do what you need.
