AAAh the tassells are left at home cause the wind is not flapping inside the bird. Great views and plenty of room to stash the granny in the boot (but unfortunately she didn't make it!) CB

Talking Christmas all tied up, now for new year

    Hey Dudes and Dudess's,

What a laugh christmas was, soon as I got to the campsite, it was like a fly infestation of folks wanting to help me put the tent up...!!they're friendly those Dunedin types aren't they?

Got a bit tipsy on the Sat night, with a chinaman who was cycling round the south island, and 4 other dudes, in the kitchen.

Caught up with Xaria, and Nitey on Christmas Eve, and another mate was there, so we got stuck into Red Vino, that nasty Woodystock and cheese.

I got woken up by a crescendo of an orchestral bird song in the morning, the most amazing sound

It was sad to see the dudes leave Christmas Day, but then got inundadated by lunch offers, but only managed to share the puddings, x4, god straight to my arse no doubt

Pissed down on Christmas Day, so took to my tent wrapped myself in my sleeping bag, balanced the red wine on a deckchair finished off chilli cheese and crackers, mouth was then on fire, thank god for the wine@!!
and started Richard Bransons Book till I passed out.

Caught up with Scumdog and Crissy and a brief appearance by xknuts, so that was all fine and dandy.

The Rodeo was the most amazing thing to watch (a recommendation to go to here mates) Got up close and personal with one of the wild horses, when I went for a wander, it hesitently walked up to me blowing through its nostrils and stamping its hoove's, then put his nose right up next to my face, so I gave him a kiss on his muzzle, he blew in my face and then backed off before skipping round the paddock with the other horses, funny as. Wow is that horsey fore play?

Those wild horses are truly magnificent animals, their manes are wild, long and untammed, they're muscly critters, their jumpy, scatty, but allround wonderous to get up close to.

My mushy bit was with a horse called Jeronimo I found out, Yee Har....

Didnt manage to bag any cowboys, as the day went far to fast, I left about 5pm, so no gossip there

So thats my christmas, and roll on NY Eve, I'm off to sell Bangers at Hawea's do, (met the publicans on the Hawea rally, so got roped into it, wot a great bunch of folk they are) Get to watch the Feelers, and Supergroove, and love them.

All that remains to be said, is have a safe and fun and totally mad Eve, and roll on Waikia eh?
"I'm gunna hug ya, and squeeze ya, and call ya George!" "Spread the smile and watch it come back at cha" x

Thank you to those who came to the Garstonian Rally 2009, heads up for the 2010 Rally.......
