I know you want baffled to avoid re-jetting, but you might want to consider the screamin demon pipes anyway.

I haven't re-jetted and haven't noticed any difference in performance...not that I've had it on for very long yet ;-)

Is the bike fuel injected? The box should adjust if so?

    Gidday Donut,
You can't have one without the other my friend - increase "flow" in one part of the fuel system & the other side of things needs compensating to bring it all back into balance again... (GT 250's are quite "lean" from factory, so a re-jet is a must...)

The re-jet on these is straight forward & will take around an hour on top of the exhaust mods...

Correctly set up, you can expect to see 26 ~ 28 hp at the rear wheel...

FITMENT OF NON STANDARD MUFFLERS TO THESE BIKES WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY...

    Cheers

To finish first - first you must finish... Oh b.t.w, which way doe's Turn 1 go & whats the lap record...

    Gidday Donut,
Jets are around $8.00 ~ 12.00 each dependent who you get them off... (Pay the extra & get the properly "flowed" jets)

I'm assuming you bought the bike off Hamilton Motorcycles - have a talk to Neal or Mike in the workshop...

Both are bloody good blokes & shouldn't charge any more than an hours labour to do the job

    Cheers

I was experimenting with mufflers in metalwork. Basically hacked apart a CBR400 muffler, took the original baffles out and made a perferated tube and chucked some fibreglass around it. It went alright for a while, but the bike slowly developed a stutter. I evetually took it off, it was making me deaf anyway. I don't think any pipe you put on will require no jetting
