    Headphones... Advice needed.

    Hey all

    I know that i should not do this but i listen to music when riding (usually because i have lost everyone...lol) and have issues with my headphones that i use, anyone have or have heard of anything that you can use that fits in your ear(like ear plugs) rather in the usual ones??? (am i making any sense???) and also need something not too expensive as I am shocking at losing or breaking stuff like that

    I like listening to music while I ride, I find it helps me be more relaxed and get into a rythm.
    I have used these Philips Ear hook jobbies like you see a number of runners using: http://www.noelleeming.co.nz/audio/a...prod93135.html

    But prefer these http://www.noelleeming.co.nz/audio/a...prod96943.html as they cut out most of the wind noise and I can have the volume quite a bit lower because of it.

    Sorry couldn't put the pictures in, follow the links.

    I have headphones similar to these: Linky which I use along with my iPod shuffle
    The reason I love them, is because they have nice silicone in-ear fitty things, sound quality is a lot better, bass is better, and sound reduction is enough to almost enough to call them earplugs

    Another vote for the CX300's.

    I use the same headphones and they are awesome. I find at low speeds they block out quite a bit of noise to. Anything above 80 and for a long trip you start needing ear plugs but YMMV.

    cx300's are good, about 80-90$ tho. Thats full retail price tho.... After I bought them I saw the panasonic ones for 1/2 price, i bet they do the same job.
    Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

    Plugs 4 Lugs make ear pieces which are custom made to your ears, they can be wired for sound and are a really good price.
    Take about 30 minutes to make and will last for years.

    Have a look at this--> http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...5&postcount=84

    I think Melon started a thread about it as well, but can't find it. I seem to recall it mentioning a link with tinnitus. I have two friends who suffer from that- one is almost completely deaf. No thanks.

    I believe any form of head phone can cause damage to your hearing because people tend to have them turned up too loud.
