Weather is looking a bit more promising........ It's still supposed to rain till later this arvo but quite frankly, I think its done its business and buggered off already.

Looks like the worst of it has passed on the rain radar.

    Blardy good ride today!

Weather held up nicely and a wee pootle to Kaiaua, nice to see the group waited for me to turn up as TEC

Generally incident free, 'cept for the unlikely rear tyre puncture that occurred to one of the group! I'll let him post up the details, suffice to say dog-poo, CO2 canisters and general pisstaking abounded.

A wee rest at Kaiaua, shooting the breeze and general yak-yak before I split off with a couple of other riders to get home (via the twisties of the Hunuas/Jones Rd/Ardmore Quarry Road )

I think Renegade_Master realised Crashe's prophecy of following me on a "pootle" was coming true (he needed to find a gas station! )

Done and dusted. Great day, great company, great ride
