    Dodgy white Subaru

Just had a phone call from my girlfriend. A couple of dodgy looking characters have just been casing out our house while she's at home alone. She's a little freaked out by it, but did make a note of their licence plate before they drove off. Any chance I can PM it to someone on here who can run it and let me know who it belongs to?

She should have just called the cops. That's what they're there for.

You never fail to make us laugh.

Actually finns right, they [should] take single women at home calls seriously.

In a perfect world, yes. But they are busy people (I'll leave you guys to speculate what they are busy doing), and I cant see them being overly interested.

We are considering calling them just so there is a record of it, but there really isnt much to report at this stage. Keen to get a bit more info before hand. The name of the owner for example might ring a bell.

You'll never get fobbed off by 111 calling for them to report suspicious activity, especially when you've got a rego. While in this case it's not a priority 1, they would still attend and might even hurry if the rego returns a known arsehole.

Don't think it's really worthy of a 111 call, the guys found nothing and left of their own accord. She's phoned the local station to report it, as suspected they've said there isn't much they can do at this stage. Besides, I'd put money on me getting there before the cops could respond to a 111 call anyway.

On the brightside, we have some labourers doing work around the place and they have turned up to start so they'll be there incase the buggers come back.

Yes, but stealing stuff requires a bit of effort so that counts you out.

    Don't be so sure.

I saw once saw a sub-one-minute response to a "dommie in progress" 111 call.

Yeah, there is the odd exception, but the odds are most definitely in my favour. And I'd be riding in a way that is highly likely to have me followed by all available units anyway!

Poos, you shouldnt be putting things that have been in your arse in your mouth. You haven't been taking tips from Dover and his toothbrush have you?

Oh thats right, I seem to recall it wasn't his toothbrush.
