Thumbs up 250 Coro loop: Auckland, Tauranga etc. Saturday 1st December

Thread here for photo's, discussion etc....

    http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=62166

    GREEN LIGHT GREEN LIGHT!!!!!

    Rides going ahead.

    Date: December 1st (Saturday)
Meeting: Kopu petrol station, Meet at 10:00, ride out at 10:20
    Where? Full Coromandel loop.

*Aucklanders meet EJ at the McDonalds Autobahn at 8:00am to ride out to Thames*

Any riders coming from the Tauranga direction wanting to head to Kopu as a group meet me and Mcduck5n at Drivers at 8:00, leaving at 8:10, tell me if your going to join this group. (ie post in here or pm)

Why? To make the most of the weather before the Christmas rush begins, the fact that ive got saturday off work, and since the last one was so good.

*Ride will be cancelled if the weather turns to hell, if so, this thread will be updated with a cancellation before 7:00 that morning.*

This is a fairly decent distance to cover in one day 500km's+ (especially for the Auckland crew) And has some challenging parts of road also. Hence why I am going to mention here that all are welcome. HOWEVER, for anyone who is fairly new to riding (ie been doing so for only a month or so and are only coming to terms with open road riding/ your bike etc) This is not the ride for you, a newbie ride is the one you're looking for.

Anyone who is also keen on pissing around tearing through the group and being a right shit on your bike, is not welcome at all - ie Skidmarks and rossi wannabies. And if anyone does decide to do so will be told to leave the group.

We want this to be a safe enjoyable ride and an incident free day.

Hope to see some of the group from the last ride: Robignevil, Carbacca, Deanohit, GIJoe, PirateJaffa etc....

Sweet. So thats it, if I've missed anything, just post up here and I'll add it, if people have suggestions for meeting times/places that have been agreed upon by a few members, pm me with the details and I'll add it to the original post.

If you have any problems on the day, ie massive traffic jam so the jaffa's are going to be late, txt me: 0211235480

See attachmentment for route etc, of course there will be more stops for photos etc.
:edit: pos computer chewed up the green writing, it just says Whitianga for lunch, breaks here and there etc.

    Yep, I'm in man!

Anyone have suggestions for a better meeting place than the Thames Mcdonalds? (not the greatest place to park really)

:edit: Looks like the Kopu gas station or the Kopu Pub will be the go - lets just say for now the gas station.

You know if the weather is too good, means we'll be cooking in our cordura, just means we'll have to go faster.
