    Hi (Overdue) (Crutch)

Hi, thought I'd better introduce myself, as I've been registered with this site for a while now. Just another newbie on a GN250. Going for my full licence next week. By the way, has anyone got any hints?

Nello....good luck with the licence test.

Tips, relax focus on the task and dont have tunnel vision always focus on the whole picture when looking ahead..

The tag line thing changes depending on your post count or rep count what ever it is, its listed up somewhere on the site and its a default setting till you are no longer a newbie.

Until you get more posts and rep...then you can change it later...its something like that...havent been a newbie in a while here... I'll try find the link.

    Hints:

    Be nice to old ladies.

    Wear clean undies.

Stay off the white lines in the wet, they turn to ice. Or you will need clean undies.

Find some experienced older riders whose riding you admire and respect, ask lots of questions no matter how silly you may feel, and LISTEN to the answers!

Sing loudly in your helmet whenever you feel like it and make peuw, peuw, ka-boom noises at car drivers who need removing from the road. Very satisfying.

If you give yourself a fright, or have repeated trouble with something, eg U-turns, ask for help and get it down pat rather than try to struggle through. Had an aquaintance nearly die last year cos she didn't like right hand turns, avoided them like the plague, then fucked up big time on a right hand turn in the wet. Was in intensive care for three months clinging to life . . .

    Hi!
I sat my full licence test last week: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...14#post1303814

Hints? Make sure you can do feet-up u-turns. And always indicate left for a second or so, just as you are about to leave roundabouts.

    Good luck!
