3 of our company's senior management team have told me they will very seriously be looking to relocate overseas if Labour get re-elected.

You have to admit it's frustrating to watch the same old argument come up and end up with the same old result.

Well I don't know what more I can do. You say the power is at our fingertips and I have used mine by writing letters, making submissions, dialling the phone number........I don't know what more to do.

What frustrates me is Aunty Helen telling us how to live, changing the rules to suit themselves, trying to silence our speech......etc etc etc.

Will vote National, but I can't see them reversing the social decline for quite some years, so Oz is pretty much on the cards for us.

This govt has brought us restrictions on free speech (police rules regarding protests that might offend a VIP, Electoral Reform Bill), partisan politics in schools (Al Gore's movie - pseudoscience at its best), not to mention Bradford's S.59 Bill - extremely poor legislation, again based on emotive rhetoric because cold, hard, science had demonstrated that the opposite of what was claimed is true i.e. they lied to us big-time.

We've seen wholesale social decline, decent medical care and education are things to envy in first world countries, and we've made rapid progress toward the bottom of the OECD rankings.

I don't care what the political party is called - any group that wreaks that amount of destruction to a country's internal structure needs to be removed, the sooner the better.

While I'd like to see things like personal responsibility, safe schools with quality teaching, etc. here, in reality I'm only going to get those by moving...

Organised voting blocs. Other countries with proportional representation systems will organise a government by getting voters to vote proportionally for different parties that will constitute a Government. Want National in as the coalition leader?

National voters may need to concentrate on getting NZ First, United Future, and ACT constituency candidates into parliament while giving their list vote to National. Both of the first two parties will do whatever they're told by the leading major party post election.

Any vote for any other party other than National (and ACT) is a vote for Labour.

Maybe for a Labour led coalition, but with a different balance.

Actually, it does make a difference if you know where to look. Labour has successfully destroyed the very fabric of this nation. Little by little, inch by inch. It is common to reference left wing politics much like a slow eating cancer. Labour is a terminal disease and must be irradiated.

While I understand your MO is "in God we trust" and by nature you will try to see good in everything, several hundred kiwi's a week don't agree with you and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

If we do not change the path we are on, NZ will have a very marginal middle class, a HUGE and POOR working class and there will be a few wealthy people that use this as a playground.

So back to your original comment, the difference is huge. It'll just take National some time to reverse engineer all the fucks ups and indoctrination. If they get in, it will be a mammoth task.

To be honest this has been my MO well before I became a Christian.

Only 10% of the poulation earn over $100,000 and the average wage is around the $30,000 odd mark.

Even those less fortunate still have a pretty good lifestyle compared to say the comparable class in say the UK or America.

I often see Pacific island families in their old cars on mass at some beach having a great time. Where would you see that in say places like Bow in London or St Pauls in Bristol where white Police are not allowed and a while back, no Police would enter the area.

Paranoia is out biggest enemy and we allow it to take away the fabric of our life.

Okay lets take personal responsibility. A survey in 2000 showed that 97% of the poulation expected the Govt to help them................now they complain when the Govt trys to do that. This Country is not capable of taking responsibility so they need the Govt whether they like it or not.

Schools.............why are they not safe. Try schools in the UK or worst still America............yep life is hard here. I went to London schools in the 70's it would shock you what happened then. A whole block was set fire to, regular gang bashings............you would be playing in the playground, the one clear side, the gang would line up and charge the playground kicking everyone they could get............yep our schools are pretty unsafe.

I took a quick look at ACT's website, and I liked what I saw. Trouble is, they
only show you the three policies they want you to see.

The problem with that reasoning is that you do not control society. And it is steadily encroaching on the mini-society you have until now chosen for yourself in your own home. Take the tobacco issue...It's a dirty habit, bad for your health etc (yes, I smoke, yaaboo), but will (this) government outlaw sales? No. Instead keep increasing proscribed areas. Now the talk is of making it illegal in your car. The logical step is then in your own home. See?

Smoking. Well what is wrong with not smoking in your car.........no different to texting which most people seem to agree is wrong.

Logical step banning smoking in your home? Paranoia.............the Govt make heaps of taxes from tobacco sales so if they banned from cars, pub's etc and homes then logically one would not be able to smoke outside so where is the logic in that.

You don't smoke whilst riding so would it be a big deal not smoking in a car?
