I don't have kids so I can not fully empathise with how you are feeling right now but I can say that given the opportunity to act as an executioner I would feel no remorse.

Yes they have/are....spoke to them tonight, they are doing well, this all started a couple of years ago, but only came out in the open about 8 months ago...its taken all this time to get him to where he is tonight, i guess the police knew what they were doing all along (didnt feel like it to us) and how they should handle such a matter...
