And nothing, I guess. Making a few of them sweat's almost worth it, and such a response could easily be used to temporarily cause a few uneasy squirms in government. However considering this useless lot's ability to completely ignore public opinion, let alone the laws of common sense, I can't imagine it would have any effect.

Worst things happen from cops when you get your house robbed. This happened once:

House got robbed. Called the cops. Cops came the day after.

    Now...

If you had insurance: "Alright, We will write this letter for your insurance company to claim your thing...."

If you did not have insurance: "Ah sorry to hear maam/sir etc etc blah blah yah yah... you should have had insurance" then walks away

Note, Cops don't do shit. House robbery succession: 100%

There's a big part of your answer - too much police time is wasted on cock-a-maymee crap laws like that.

And re your comparison with 1998 - there's so many high profile ongoing crimes sucking the guts out of the police, bullshit defended cases etc

(And don't get me going on losers that say 'defend it 'cos it ties up the cops and pisses 'em off' when it comes to any charges (or tickets))

Of course they don't do shit, - they're too busy writing out tickets for 111kph speeds and eating do-nuts - sheesh, you people expect everything!!

True, and the bosses might say 'no need for the speed traps' (whatever THEY are) and lay off 790 cops that would have been running them.......

THAT would really help things eh??

And now the bloody understaffed cops will be arresting anyone who smacks a kid, never mind the fact that had the kids got a bit of discipline they might not commit these crimes.

Mind you when our car was broken into at 3 am the night of our anniversary, the local cops were onto it and at home within 15 mins, never caught the pricks but sent us report,no complaints here.Smaller towns with some cops working does help.

Can recall I think John Banks saying he'd increase the police by 1000 or more years ago,he did just merged the old mot into the police, can remember saying to a couple of mates that would happen, seems the police should have more non swarn staffers to do the paperwork, shit whats the diff from a companies co with a pa to do exactly that, and a person to write up police officers reports, last I looked we all could understand english and can read it.
Hello officer put it on my tab

Don't steal the government hates competition.

When the house got broken into and a heap of my stuff went while I was at work, I was fucked off with the people that did it. Not the Police who attended!
