    Aahh - that's better (VTR1000 Forx)

Took the FahrtSturm in to Kerry at Motohaus at lunchtime, and had him give it a fork oil transfusion. As I suspected, the oil was very old and grungy looking (like that stuff you see on news footage of oil spills).
I was planning to tackle this task myself, but I've already got 17 bazillion litres of used engine oil in my gargre, so I didn't really want to add to the stockpile.
And I didn't even have to get my hands grubby.
    So how izzit?
It feels a little more compliant - before it felt quite stiff and not very nice over rutted surfaces.

Kerry has expanded his empire a little bit, and now sells boots and gloves (Spyder and MotoSprint), Arai helmets, and a whole bunch of other stuff, in addition to the Scottoiler, Ventura and other lines he sold before. So now you can get batteries, chains and sprockets, packracks and packs, and all sorts of bits'n'pieces. As from next month, when a new bike mechanic is starting, he's expanding his servicing facilities, so will be doing almost all kinds or bike work, including tuneups, etc. Kewl!
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I can't beleive you paid someone to do that! Didn't want to add to your waste oil collection! All 1 litre of it. I dunno.

I pay people to do that stuff. If I did it myself I'd stuff it up for sure.

    Yeah, pathetic, innit? :sneaky2:
I've got all the tools, bar a jack to keep the FahrtSturm from toppling over onto one of the Peugeots while minus a front wheel. But it would've taken me longer than an hour, and I would've agonised over oil viscosities and levels, and I figgered if anything didn't go according to plan (like the airlock that ended up splurting oil all over the place ) then it was Kerry's problem, not mine.
Besides, when I find someone who does good work, I like to help keep them in business.

If that happened while you were riding you may find it was (ahem) YourProblem™

I know what ya mean though.... sometime I pay people too to do stuff I could.....mostly when it comes to house maintenance 'cause I hate doing that...
