    89 Honda Spada shock adjustment

Hi there, I just bought an 89 Spada VT250 and the guy I bought it from was about 60KG soaking wet. I however am a very "muscular" 106KG ..anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew how to adjust the rear shock. It looks as if there is some sort of cam adjustment. I tried to turn it both ways but wouldn't give an inch.

There is probably something like a pin or something I need to press in, but dont see it when I look, or just don't know what I am doing.. either way it ain't gettin adjusted.

    Any help? Thanks

No pin to press in, just turn the ring with a c wrench.

However it may be rusted in place and some WD40 will probably go some way to helping....

The spring will also be way too light for you, irrespective that you may be able to give it more preload. A heavily preloaded soft spring is still a soft spring.
