Police, feckers or what?

Yesterday I asked some of you guys some exhaust related questions and one about birds but I didn't explain why.Thats because it would be a rant. here is that rant! In england it's the crime of the century to have non standard pipes or small number plates,The nazis can be seen at most bike meets chekin exhausts for european approval stamps and measuring number plates.One of the highest serious crime rates in the world so they fill their crime stats books up with bikers who's numberplates are 2mm to small.
You may think this is sour grapes but you'd be wrong I have never been pulled for such a thing.

but it is so bloody wrong. bikers and speeding car drivers,safety my arse, just easy targets,get the money punish the mostly law abiding but don't catch the bastard that killed an old lady in my street for a bag of chips and 30pence.Don't turn up when you've had your bike nicked,Don't even attend minor road accidents,cause thier to busy measuring number plates somewhere.

You wana judge a society look at it's police force,In Britain police are,in general,inefective,corrupt,pompus money grabbin Bastards, IN MY OPINION.

If you are that passionate about the issue then become a politician or an activist and make a contribution to the positive change in our society.

However, I am guessing that you're not really that passionate about it and even if you were, given time the world of politics and activism would corrupt your opinion.

It's a lost cause, worry about how many woman you have sex with before you die, it's really the only thing you'll regret on your death bed, in my opinion anyway.

I like the po-po here, though a)it concerns me about younger and younger people joining, with lower standards to boot. Perhaps got something to do with the low pay compared to other jobs they could get, and the lack of power they have to prosecut certain things, such as the joke that is "Youff Court" and anything to do with Family matters. and b)Mr Plod mates have told me policing now is not "challenging but rewarding" like it used to be, but more pointless and petty.

Must be a better policeforce now Clit Rickards and the like have been weeded out.

Gahhh indeed and I didn't even metion the chief constable that put out pictures of a decapitated biker on pamphlets for a road safety campaign,without seeking permision from his family!!!!!!, first they knew was when they saw a leaflet with a picture of a headless corpse and it was thier father,brother,husband whatever. I say again the're evil corrupt insensitive thick cruel and useless BASTARDS.Feck em just Feck em

It's a hoary old chestnut troll designed to get people to put their black & white opinions down on virtual paper. The poster may be different, and the words inflected (infected?) with clipped Jersey tones, but the message has been posted over, and over, and over, and over, and over....

I agree, I lurv them ladies and if you read my other threads you'll see I'm a take life on the chin kinda guy but them bastards just make my skin crawl,stick pins under my nails etc.

Genuinely sorry if you've heard it all before,not been on kb very long, no design and no intention just needed to vent my spleen, remembering injustices of the past and wondered if you guys are fellow sufferers. Don't share,thats cool, it benefits me not if people want to type pages of peeves on this thread or think as you do,that this is intentionally designed to draw an impassioned response,join in or don't but allow me to let off steam if I wanna.I shall withdraw the invitation from the bottom of the original post and leave it as a simple beef about the tendency of the British police to ride roughshod over the rights and feelings of predominantly decent and moral people just because there easy targets.I thought people would enjoy ruminating over the behaviour of police forces towards towards bikers abroad and wanted to hear the state of play in NZ. I'm an admirer of your contributions to KB jim2 and am affronted that you judge me to be so shallow,just ignorant of whats gone before.what a fecker I am eh.

A serious answer for you. The group of failed police known as ParkingNazis tend to be the nit-picking type over the sort of minor transgressions you mention. Although I don't think the number plate thing is an issue here

Thanks mate,your number plates are only half the size of uk ones so the desire to minimise them would be less I guess.

No dramas, but we're aware of the headless corpse pictures as well.

We have cops on the site who are good people, first and foremost, and it gets really tiresome for them (and some of us) to have this message posted over and over. Rant about a specific case all you want, but make sure you have your facts right.

A general anti-pigs rant is a little unfair.

OH MY GOD - The NZ Police... where do I start????

OK - they're a diverse bunch of people, pretty much like you'd meet in any employee group. There are tall ones, short ones, one with egos, ones who enjoy power trips but mostly they're there to do the job the best they can under the driections they were handed from above.

The job they do is a losing one - i.e. don't care what they do their main visbility is handing out warnings, notices, tickets and enforcing rules than have been broken. As a result they're not ever really going to be painted in a good light generally, despite the fact they do a job that I wouldn't want to.

They're underpaid, under-resourced, work some socially awkward hours, are constrained by the letigious dictates of the courts and absolutely must have every little thing tied down if they should ever have to take something through court of the lying little shits they're trying to protect the rest of us from will walk out on some inane technicality.

And I've personally never had a problem with them.

Does that answer the question? I hope so coz I have one of my own. Why did a complaint about the UK Police asking "what's it like over there" come out of New Plymouth? Sounds like someone wanting to stir the pot to me...
