Zero Abuse on Sportsbike actually, never yet had a complaint to deal with yet, when I was a Mod on KB would get a complaint every freckin day about someone who lost their lolly bag.
Dont have rep because why would you? what does it serve exactly.
KB (as much as I love it) is the womens weekly of Bike sites.

Okay Im running for that one lol
Ive run out of fucks to give

    I agree with Quasi 100%....

If you recall Quasi you and i put forward that the rep system gets removed all together, but it was not supported by most of the mods and Spank!

Blah! get rid if it... who cares.... its just a polularity contest and a lot of ego stroking or tit for tat!

I'm sorry, but I wasn't thinking of Sportsbike... haven't ever spent enough time on it to comment actually.

I guess I should have clarified what I meant by "same layout"...I'm not very knowledgeable on forums, so didn't explain myself properly.

But there are plenty other bike sites out there, with no rep points thingy, and plenty of testosterone fuelled abuse.

I do like the comments that come with the rep, I've had a few good laughs from them.
But for the sake of the thread, the most different reps I have had is 12 in the Tits & Arse thread. ;-)
6 for one post in my Negative People thread.

I agree. Green rep is so-so but red rep just allows cowards to bully people by leaving (often unjustified and vindictive) feedback that they wouldn't dare say in an open forum or PM.

Well i think that between the infraction system and report to a mod system the rep system is not realy needed. But then how would people like katman know if they are pissing enough people off?

Well - unlike private messages there's no rule against quoting rep messages in the public forum I believe. But yeah, red rep to non-senior members without leaving your name is a chickenshit approach.

That's precisely the issue with a rep system. You can't respond unless you send them a PM or return the favour.

Trouble is, if you took out all the "I hate KB" type posts, there wouldn't be much left...
