Racism can not harm you unless you yourself, authorize it to do do so!

Age old nursery rhyme: "Sticks and stones can break my bones but names can never hurt me"

Eagles song "Get over it" probably says it best! John.

    John.
You mean here on KB, or out in the real world?

Hey! Look who woke up from his absinthe coma!
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

I'm sure that the afro-american man burning on a cross in Mississippi will be fucking gutted that he authorised that ordeal...

Or, perhaps that wasn't what you meant?
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

I think he was talking about just here on KB, where nothing is exchanged but words. He's an Old Rider, but he's not that senile yet.

Well, it seems that more than words are exchanged in relation to this forum.

John didn't specify that he only meant on KB anyway...

But yes, I did take it beyond reason to provoke.

In a sense I agree with his post - we actively choose to be offended when we get offended.

Walk down the main drag of most cities on NZ wearing one on your arm or waving a flag bearing a swastica on it and I'm sure you will feel the love..! Also try telling otherwise to those who fought for the freedom we enjoy to be able to debate such here today. And yes it is still banned in some parts of Europe.
Such a defeatist attitude you have there. Of course we can make change by having our say and by not condoning things that we don't like, disagree with or percieve as evil. Don't forget, we actually do have that freedom here in NZ. Sheesh, Im glad our WW2 soldiers (including my old man) didn't show such apathy.
I always find it strange theres so much focus on the "hooked cross" as you guys term it,its true origins ive yet to see posted correctly in this thread but yet far worse crimes against humanity commited only years earlier with a just as recognisable flag seem to go unnoticed/unmentioned.Speaking of those that gave the ultimate sacrifice i imagine if by the snap of a finger we could bring them back for a day no matter what there origins they would shake there heads in disbelief and return to the void.

You mean the civil war in Russia? About fifteen million people died in that. It's amazing nobody knows about it these days.

Civil war in Russia? Numbers are right but it wasnt a civil war.If you read Hitlers rantings aside from insanity a case can be made for his actions,i cannot however find anything but insanity to describe Stalins.

Most racism is caused by misunderstanding. Most of the offence caused by it is also misunderstanding.
