    Awesome thread and I hope it goes well, although I do feel slightly conned in that the title said "worthy" and the actual poll was "of being in KB" which are clearly very different things.

    In fact, if I were not so utterly desperate to get some vital single malt drinking time in, I would be off trying to find a Web 2.0 Carlos Fandango "make yourself a purity test" engine somewhere so we might be able to test worthiness properly rather than in this entirely binary fashion. To that end, may I suggest a feats/points system along the lines of:

    * Eat a steak. 5pts
    * Kill the cow yourself. 10pts
    * With bare hands. 20pts

    With some negative marks for...

    * Running off to a mod after receiving red rep. -5pts
    * Starting a "I'm leaving KB and throwing my toys out of the cot" thread. -30 pts
    * And coming back again. -50pts

    And in terms of general areas of achievement I think the essential food groups of eating steak, drinking beer, making a tit of yourself and hardening the fuck up need to be represented. As do bike specific achievements such as mentoring a newbie, taking on some description of community task (organising UncleB's seat, the sprints, a track day etc), racing, commuting every damn day for at least a year, fixing up a dunger or particularly wanton acts of bike destruction also need adequate recognition.

    Awesome idea for a thread. May she upset all who sail in her.

    I'm quite disappointed. There's no questions about tattoos. After all REAL bikers have tats don't they?

    I think the common denominator of most KBers is the love
    of the humble pie.

    So tell me, what is your criteria for a biker, let alone a tough one...
    I dont know what makes a biker. Last night we got some pretty disapproving looks when we entered the cafe/pub midway through a ride. There was a pilot, a vet, a builder, computer programmer, technicans and labourers in the group. I dont think they saw past the helmets and leathers to be honest.

    Nearly all men can stand adversity and hard time, but if you want to test a mans true character, give him power....

    oh yeah, I put my vote to make the site open for all. Sometimes the idea of being a biker is better than the reality of biking. Alot ofinfo on here for soon-to-be newbie riders

    I think the hairy ginger in the faded leather jacket may have had him worried.

    needs to be a psyche test, you can just lie if its a multi answer

    "do you like bikes?"

    1. yes
    2. a bit
    3. FUCK OFF!
    4. no

    this question will only filter 3% of people in the world...
