    Far North at Xmas/New Year?

My son and I are driving (yes in a car - we tried to get a 250cc bike for him so that we could go on bikes but that has fallen through) north from New Plymouth on Boxing Day. He is 18 and after the shit that has gone down with my wife and his mother leaving us we are looking forward to a good trip away. This will also more than likely be the last time he will really want to go away with Dad (and I am really happy that he is now!)

Except for a stop at Piha for maybe a night or two (the only way I will ever get on TV is to appear on Piha Rescue next year..) and Camp Reinga where he has never been, we have nothing else planned. We want to go to the far north and have a look around. We will take a tent in the back of car and just see where we end up.

So the question, where should we go, where are the good pubs, camp grounds and most importantly where should we spend new years?

    LET ME KNOW!

    Thanks Mike

New years = paihia, Im trying to organise bit of a ride up to the cape then back down to paihia for new years, should be pretty mint.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
