At what speeds will you go there at cos my scoot can only go like 110 and on highway 16 like 90-100 not much more.

Different riders will be going at different paces, so come along and just go the pace your happy at. Someone usually waits at any main intersections so that none of the riders get loss. I'll need a blast after crawling along on the toy run, so don't try to keep up (I'll be looking for TS and KK, who whould have left me behind). It would be still good to see you there and there will be other riders that will be wanting to just enjoy the view and putter along (which is just as cool)

It'll prolly take about 5hrs though,'specially with some slower riders along....

Sounds like a great ride, especially through to Waipu. Are there any short cuts on this route that slower riders could take?

    I have a request.

On this ride will there be some kind of place where we will have toilet stops and food stops?

Yeah, yeah call me a wimp. But it's not a lot of fun when you are driving and trying to keep up with others and have "something else" on your mind.

Sure you can always go to the little room before and eat a good breakfast but sometimes nature doesn't necessarily follow a schedule.

I've been on a lot of club drives as part of my car club and sometimes riding several hours on an empty stomach spoils a bit of the fun.

Especially if you like me are a guy with the appetite of a pregnant woman.

Most rides I've been on have had frequent stops for gas, food, coffee, toilet...

At my age fluid intake needs to be calculated against time between stops. My bike has a longer range than my bladder...

No. You will have to poo and wee while riding. Have you ever seen sports racers hang off the side of the bike? Now you know why.

Don't try to keep up with others. You won't enjoy the ride as much and will be more likely to make mistakes.

I thought the idea with cars was that you could eat and drink on the go?

As most of the small bikes get under 200km to a tank, you can expect breaks at gassers within this distance.

That sounds good mate, and saves me organising one..... Dont worry about the speeds Texemo, we wait at the intersections for the slower riders.... And JSG there are plenty of stops for gas and food (considering the average speed of some guys gets up around 100-150kmh, thats average speed) so every 200 odd kays there is a gas stop etc.... You will be concentrating so hard having a great time that you wont think about your stomach etc.....

Yes, might make it easier for those that are coming to register their attendance here.

I'm sure it'll be a mega fuckin turnout if Andrews is anything to go by.
