After dropping off the bike in Glen Eden..... get back on the nor-western motorway.... and head north.... you are heading to "Helensville" so look for signs that say Helensville. Parakai is up there.... just as you get to the big intersection there is a sign which says Parakai. :spudbooge

Take the NorthWest Auckland Motorway to Massey/Helensville at spaggetti junction (leftish signed to Helensville not rightish to the harbour bridge, which is signed to Whangarei).
At Westgate/Massey follow the signs to Helensville.
At the big Helensville roundabout take the straightahead/leftish road signed Parakai/Southhead (not the right hand to Helensville). Parakai is not that far from that roundabout.

cool nice to meet ya crashe, we will be leaving the trailer at kelly's place while we take the kids to rainbows end, then will pick it back up on the way out to parakai, this is all if everything goes according to plan, we have no experience with auckland traffic, so if it's too stressful we won't bother, but with luck we might get to catch up with a few of yas tomorrow night anyway

Gee a bit of backtracking for you all... remember the bike run will be happening on the southern motorway at 10am and the motorway will be shut to all cars etc at that time. Once the bikes are gone throu they will open up the motorway again...

As you come down the southern motorway you will spot the Manuakau exit which is where Rainbows end is....

Leave the trailer on Kelly's lawn right up by the house.... Kelly's lad will be there to move her car to get the bike in...
then you have to head all the way back south to rainbows end.... its a neat place to go to for the kids... just make sure that you have an auckland map to help you get back to the motorway.

Once you pick up the trailer again from Kels place... and once you find your way back to the motorway head north as directions above.

I'm definately not coming on the ride, but I'm still coming to the party. But I'm working tomorrow and not sure if I'll make it to parakai by 5pm, or if I'll be a bit later (like maybe 6 or 7pm I am guessing).
I hope this isn't going to cause a problem.

well, I didn't brave the rain (came in mum's cage, the bike hasn't got a WOF), and didn't go for a swim, but it was good to see some familiar faces and meet new people

Had rain all week commuting, thought I'd have a day off and so I stayed out of it.
