...or, like last year, find some other way to give Quasi his money's worth for the sponsorship hook-up

I hear that there is good prize money this year... that you get something like $100.00 per lap that you lead in one of the races... not sure, Kick has all the details...

We reckon we can give Divvo a hurry to lead at least 3 or 4 laps... then the ferry trip is almost paid for!

Prize money details are in the entry form.

    Differs slightly between classes.

The invitation 'Feature' races at the end of the day have the most money, and are the ones that give $100 for every lap led.

    $35,000 prize money in total.

Have the hay bales been warned?
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

I see this year they have combined F1 and F2.
Looks like a few are going to miss out on racing due to too many numbers for that class.
I though F1 and F2 had large enough numbers for seperate classes?

Anyone know the logic behind this?

So they have dropped a Road race Class (600/Formula 2) and combined them with Formula Wanganui, so that they could have a second Supermotard class???? Thought it was a Road Race Meeting not a road based Moto Cross meeting. The best racing usually comes from the 600 class. Big fields with close racing.

the off road section was neat last year, but theres fuck all viewing spots on the jumps part of the track, due to shurbs and shit. makes it next to impossible to get decent photos or videos.

    Does anyone know:

For the first timers at a street circuit, are mylaps results sheets proof enough of our having entered 3 meetings this year?

If I haven't got a cheque book, do they have a bank account that we can deposit money in to with an appropriate reference?

If we have our own AMB transponders can we use them?

I emailed the organisers asking the above but haven't received a reply.

No you need three stamps in your race license.

I got a cheque book specifically so i can pay for nationals entries, go to your bank and get them to print you one (costs a few dollars) or just get a cheque book.

Pretty sure that if you have your own transponder then that is sweet, would have thought it to be the same as vic club.

Next year i will be there. So wish i could make it this year but too little money.
