Maybe we could run it downhill for the buckets.

    Deano ,
If you have trouble getting the numbers required in Bears f1 or f2 , I could look into getting a comp licence to make the numbers up. (Would need to join some kind of motorcycle club with affiliation I guess).

To clarify - it is only the championship classes we need the minimum of 6 MNZ licence holders.

Or the 'up to 600cc' Championship class if you're keen.

Do Supersport equivalency rules apply to the up to 600cc class? That would make the 748 eligible.

No sorry - the Cliff Hanger Championship Classes are strictly 'up to 600cc' and '601cc and over'

    A 748 can however enter F2.

    .

the GT is as fast as the RG's... it aint THAT slow... the rider is, but the bike's not.

just look at the results of the taupo races at the end of the year, if they do well ... your committe may like us there?

but if it JUST the fun day so be it
the buell may be roaring also

    what a ride so far!!!!

Is the top end speed similar cause the hill climb is pretty flat out ?

No one has ever been turned away before because of the type or size of bike, but the greater the speed differential, the more careful we have to be with run order.

We are limited to about 40 bikes on each day, so if next year proves to be very popular, it will just be a case of first in first served - early entry may be required to ensure a spot.

After seeing the vid and remembering some of the runs up there with UncleB I'm wondering if I shouldn't get a comp license and enter the Katana. It'll be WFO for 70% of that course.

    Hmmmm.........

How do I explain a weekend away on the same weekend as the Hillclimb.....

    Hmmmmm......
