New rider - CBR 250 RR

    Hey people,

Bought a CBR 250 RR 10 days ago. First bike I have owned, still on the L-plate for a few more weeks. Work has moved me up to Auckland for the summer from my usual home base of Wellington. Looking for other 250 riders to ride with on the weekend or after work on weeknights. Have been on one 200 km trip and back over a weekend. Ride to work everyday so have done about 800 kms in the 10 days. Pretty confident but open to suggestions on my riding style.

    Cheers Mike

    Welcome Mike!!

In regards to rides, keep an eye on the calendar on the front page...Also, check out the 250 forums, always something good in there...

If you're not too far from the North Shore, Thrusday nights are the ATNR rides, with gathering afterwards to the pub

We're always looking forward to meeting new and friendly people, so come along...

hey dude. hope u see this in time, there is a practice ride for all new and experienced riders, would be good to see you there, you can always improve and you always learn heaps. its in "meetingsand events" basically you meet the the shell westgate at bout 645 and head out for some practice and then relax and talk at the pub after. directions:... get on the north western motorway and follow is west until you run out of motorway at a big set of lights. turn left and those lights and head straight till you see the shell on your left.

Gudday Mike and welcome to KB!

Go the CBR's! You'll have to update your profile now that you have a bike!

Well out Southside, we always have a pootle around now and then (okay, I actually do more pootling than most! ) just keep an eye out on the 250 club forums!

And congrats on getting your steed of choice! Always good to have two wheels to remind you how to live!
