Permission for use of KB logo?

just wondering how i would go about borrowing the kb logo for non financial purposes? i would like to at least get the bike picture screen printed on the side of my tent fly for next years burt munro rally [maybe get my user name done on the other side.] figured it would help kbers maybe group pitch if they want to, and it would make my tent easier to find when its pitch black, lol.

please and thank you! [btw, are there any sticker orders being done at the moment?]

I've stopped advertising the fact that I'm on KB to the wider biking comunity - it helps me make friends.

A lot of non-KBers basically tar the lot of us with the same brush when they've had a run in with one KBer and it can create a bit of a barrier. I prefer to wait until they know me better before I mention the website - then they can see that their preconceptions are unfounded.

Spank's the one to ask but his PM's are turned off, check with Joni. I don't think there'd be an issue though because as far as I know, there are sew-on patches available with the logo.

I agree. I use the site as a tool and for a little entertainment but don't tell others that I meet "hey I'm kiwibiker user name blahblah" Most couldn't give a shit and there's alot about this site and it's members that would make me embarrassed to admit that I lurk here. And as spank has said thru his moderators many a time "KB is not and will never be a club" Now sunhuntin are you sure you want to advertise this site on your tent or do you think you should join a real motorcycle club and advertise that?

im always happy to meet other kbers... i dont see it as a club, i see it as a way to meet other riders and, on occasion, pick up riding friends [ie, meeting _intense_ in wanaka on pure chance, and gaining a companion for a couple of k. i wouldnt have ridden with him without knowing him from kb.] its neat to walk up to people, say hi, mention kb, find out their username and realise i already know them somewhat.

most riders i mention the site to dont even know its existance unless they are or have been a member in the past. you must just have had bad luck... ive never had trouble from it. i wont really mention it unless i see a shirt or sticker on the person or i have arranged to meet up or i feel the person could benefit from being on here [ie, new riders who come into work]

do you own a shirt or a patch or a sticker? many do... im simply going a bit higher from wearing a shirt or patch or sticker.

im already a fringe member of the triumph club... i essentially do everything a member does except go to meetings and pay dues. with their national rally last year, i stayed back and helped them tidy up... i didnt have to, but it was the right thing to do.

i made a flag with out permission.

bit i havegivin spank a whole lot of money for donations and merchandise,

also i cant draw/cut/paste so the flags pretty shit, hiding in my room where no one can see lol.

i was going to use it at bug events so we could locate ourselfs easily.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
