It seems pretty bloody obvious to me there's a time and place for this stuff...

Between this thread and the now famous sidewinder/carver thread it seems what it is most impressive to some has a time and place - who'd have thought.

I can't wheelie... would love to be able to do so but don't have the inclination to really give it a good nudge - and pay for the carnage I'll cause along the way... but all that aside...

Sounds like it was a good show - in the wrong place... to the wrong audience. Take your medicine, accept it was the wrong place and move on. I know a couple of pretty crude, but insanely funny jokes... drop them in the wrong place though and I'd be apologising.

Same for this. Trashy summed it up best I think... good wheelie, bad reaction - say sorry and move on. Done deal.

Apologising is a sign of weakness. Don't do it Drew.

Hey, riding a motorbike is dangerous full stop.

Let's look at it in perspective though. I can flip a bike pulling a nice long, eighty kay an hour mono get grazed up a little and laugh about it later in the pub. Or, I can lose it over the hill at Puke', colliding with a wall six feet off the track and confine myself to a wheelchair for life.

    So what's more dangerous?

stunts done properly don't end up with crashed bikes mate. The incidents you refer to are stunts not done properly.
