    Welly to Taupo and back - the long way round

    We went to the Transit Road Barrier Seminar today and made our point very well and with great dignity - and were treated by Transit in kind. A Great Day.

    I'm home but YET AGAIN failed to complete a long ride on my own two wheels. YET AGAIN I got trailered home (thanks AJTurbo). YET AGAIN it was with an unserviceable back tyre. I got a puncture just coming into Levin so it was Nasty (and AJTurbo) to the rescue YET AGAIN. This is getting embarrassing. Please God, can't i finish a ride all by myself just once? Please please please.

    Too knackered to tell it all tonight, so here's a map of our 899km trip - I made 825.6km this time or 91.8% of it. I'll try and complete 91.8% of a story for tomorrow night.

    I saw an ad in an old mag for solid rubber inserts, maybe they are just the ticket....
    Ya may also need a time machine to go back and get them! the next article was on the "STUTZ BEARCAT" Americas finest new car!
