Question 1986 Honda Shadow front rim

    Hi all,

After some advice. Have a 1986 Honda VT1100C that was recently dropped at low speed and slid into a curb. Result = need new front wheel.

The problem - seems that second hand parts for this model are hard to come by. Tried some of the wreckers I could find in the phone book...
    Atomic Bike Wreckers
    Action Bike Wreckers Ltd
    Davey Motorcycle Wreckers Ltd
    Bike Busters Motorcycle Wreckers
    Victorian Motorcycle Wreckers
also emailed a couple in Australia and no one has wrecked one of these bikes.

New rim is about $1000 + and has to come from overseas.

Does anyone know where I might find another rim?/know of another model that would have the same front wheel?
Any Ideas as to a cheaper solution?

    Cheers,

    $30 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1985-...spagenameZWD1V

    or $100

I'm sure the $30 guy would ship overseas too, just ask a question
