And don't let anybody give you that 'you won't enjoy it as much' bullshit either.

Getting paid for something you would do for nothing is especially satisfying.

    Yes.

After a week or so off work, I find myself compulsively coming up with random projects to tinker on.

Been at it since I was 12. Gotta have my fix.

Every so often, I worry that the rest of the world will wake up and realise that I'm taking money off it for shit I'd do anyway for fun, but people don't seem to mind.

kiwibiker is full of love, an disrespect.

    I'm the CEO of Kiwibiker.

None of you would be aware of all the hard work I do behind the scenes keeping this place online. In part, the success of Kiwibiker is about strong leadership, and that's exactly what I provide SpankMe and his moderators. It's a thankless job but I don't do it for recognition or money. I'm just proud to be a part of this community.

Many of you have asked me for an address so you can send me gifts as a sign of your appreciation this Christmas. I am truly touched by this and thought that this year I would take you all up on your very kind and generous offers. But please, I don't need gifts. I would rather you send donations to a charity I have help establish that cares for uninsured retired bikers of HOGS (Harley Owners Group) who have had an accident on their pride and joy and written it off. For many of them, this is their only asset and it saddens me that their biking days are over. I'm sure you can sympathise. So, please make your cheques out to: Crashed and Smashed HOGS but please just abbreviate this as the bank account is in the shortened name.

Please PM me for the address to post your donation.

    God Bless Finn.

If this charity doesn't reach out to you, I have another one that might be right up your alley. Christian Association of Social Housing. It's a fund that I set up through my church that helps put a roof over the needy this Christmas. Again, just abbreviate it.
