    Flash Gordon Ward we were staying in the room next door to him out at the Airport hotel I think it was. I still remeber trying to buy his Aria helmet off him in the corodor I was hammered on Jim Beam was lucky if I was 16 I think, I nearky got it when I said $100 plus a 40oz Jim beam that made him stop and talk to me for a moment but he Had a hooker under his arm so was keen to keep moving lol.
    Good times. And yea Gobert wasnt bad on the kx80 either

    Choppa, you are getting the two mixing some of the parts up,

    The wellington one had gobert on 80's, along with Brownie and Chris Staff on the RM's and a few others, Stacey O was on 125's against him as well, very tight and indoor,

    the big endo from Buscell was Christchurch while he was leading on no 32, in the same race Nigel's helmet come off, i think Brad Thomas lead that race for a while as well,

    Both were televised,

    Ian, i remember going to Carlaw Park both nights, but did not go to Christchurch until the 2nd year, both those supercrosses were supported well, i got given a video of that race as well with some pukekohe club stuff, played it and Brownie lead Gobert for about 4.5 laps of a junior 125 final before Gobert got him on the last lap, followed by Damon Smith

    Manfeild round should be this coming Saturday if it's still on.....
