and yes finn (westie) whoever buys the bike, when they track down an engine (i won't pay for the engine, just install the replacement engine for the new owner, because i know how to do it.)i will put the engine in for free. and get it all running and rideable again.

the bike is infact worth more than that.

just because you get a steal on a bike it does not represent it's value.

a zxr same year and model as mine is 4k on trademe, mines has good tyres new brake discs ...pads etc....

so if they pay 1k...allow 500 for a motor....500 for a paintjob...

then it's as mint as the ones on trademe.

so then a bike that they can sell for 4k will only owe them 2k.....

even if they ride it for a year with the current 250 market making these bikes only gain value (zxr's cost 3k a year ago)

they have a bike that come time to sell it is impossible for them to loose money on it (provided they dont blow it up like i did).

just because you got a $500 bargain bike that in no way represents the market value, if i put this bike on trademe i could very quickly flick it for 1500 or more.

but i am not putting it on trademe yet as i prefer to help out kiwibiker people first, and give them first dibs on the bike as such, at a lesser price.

not digging at you trashy, because as i said i respect you (by the way thanks for the help at the trackday)

but i think this needed to be said.

I reckon you're a dreamer is what I reckon needs to be said. I'd really like to see it on Tardme. In fact, take the punt and throw it on with a dollar reserve, you'll actually get what the punters truly think it's worth.

Edit: I sell heaps of stuff with a dollar reserve. Ya get more for it funnily enough.
