I have to agree with white trash on this one...
Your engine has chewed through its crank, so its fucked.
Pretty much your selling a rolling chassis, and $1000 for a 250 rolling chassis seems a bit steep...
tell ya what, if you cant sell it, i could be persuaded to take it off your hands for $400
Calculate labour into that buddy? $3000 for a working ZXR 250, yeah, sure. Not a problem. $1000 for a Chassis that needs how many hours of work to get running? Remove Fairings, disconnect everything, tear out the engine, put in the new engine, Oops, my bad, acquire an engine first (silly me). Wire that shit back up, clean up your broken arse fairings, remount said fairings (which at this point would be not broken arse). Thats assuming you haven't forgotten anything.
So, if you were selling a bike that had, i dont know, bashed in valve and a melted piston(s), sure $1000, no probs.
The point is, its fucked. All sorts of fucked.
hmm, suzuki 400 impulse rolling chassis = $400
suzuki GSXR750 '89 rolling chassis = $500
Thank you trademe
The fact the $500 more gets you a shiny RG150 thats in one peice an hasn't shat itself probably don't help your cause none either
good thinking there man except if you had bothered to read the thread you would have noticed i will put the engine in for the new owner free of charge if they want me to so they have no labour cost, and 250's have a much higher value than 400's and old 750's due to demand.
stop stirring shit when you do not know the value of things.
and the engine is already out of the bike, and as i have said 3 times now i will put another engine in it when the new owner buys one so they do not have to worry about labour.
so are ya done? tosser
You an MTA assured mechanic? cause from the state of your bikes i wouldn't even let you THINK about anything mechanicall
Mr "my bike shat its crank bearing"
