FFM M7 Helmet
Gidday Guys,
Just picked myself up an FFM M7 helmet for a great price of $99! I haven't been able to road test it, as I don't actually have a motorbike
But I'll give it a quick once over incase anyone's interested.
- It's got neat little vents all over it, chin, crown and the back.
- All of the pads are removable - it'll last a lot longer since they're washable.
- Easily removable and cheap visors. They just click off.
- Looks good, hopefully I wont get lost in the traffic with this bad boy on.
- Conforms to the ECER-22 standard.
- Weighs 1350gms, give or take 50gms. Much lighter than my old man's TourPro.
- Double D fastner.
- Fits really well, not tight anywhere, not loose anywhere.
- FFM is an oldschool NZ brand from the 70's, keep it in the family! Though these would have to be made overseas at this amazing price.
- PRICE! If I drop it it's not the end of the world. It'll go in the bin in a few years due to natural degredation. No big deal.
Aparently they whistle a bit at speed, they don't muffle much noise and sometimes the visor doesn't seal too well. But I'll find this out for myself in a few weeks. Hopefully I wont have to report back how well it works in a bin!
