nice. missed out due to work needing (really needing) to be done round here. Mouse test rode a ST4 today so had to follow him round the block to see it out in action. Not my cup of (green) tea but seemed to have a bit of get up and go. Ugly silver though.

Very nice cruise around the block. A chance meeting with Sarge in Palmy led to us riding out to Feilding to meet the group. No toys so a quick dash to the $2.00 shop where we purchased little plastic R1 - 300's. Not sure Yamaha would have approved but they looked cool.

Very hot day so after the run Garry and I escorted Sarge over the track and up the line before returning via the saddle.

    Good day

Good day to be out riding. Ride was well supported by KBers. Found out I've been riding round without rear indicators for some time as the connections got pulled apart weeks ago.

Enjoyed the second half of the ride being escorted over the Track by Sarge. That Yamaha gets some serious lean on in the corners. Saddle road is in not bad condition at the moment with only a bit of loose stuff on the Woodville side.

Passing through Ashhurst past Ambo etc outside the Pub with some guy laying on the road like he'd been run over by a car.

yeah. That guy on the road is pretty serious. Both Meanie and my kids witnessed the accident so they are pretty cut up for young guys. The guy is status 1 which is serious. Have interview with police today to get statements from the kids. Little ironic that the guy who got hit was in a group with fuck the police written over their shirts and you know who was the first person they rung when their mate was lying on the road half dead?

Twas a good day, learned something going over the track, the Continental sport attacks I have on now are better under heavy(ish) braking down hill than the Michelin PP 2ct I had on previously and all round i'm getting the hang of them a bit and i'm pretty happy with the attacks....might even put em on my next bike....

Bad news about that guy getting run over and the Meanie and your kids had to witness it too! Not a good image to have floating around in ones head for sure.

Holy shite, not good to witness for kids.
Ironic though as per shirts, same when people give cops shit and then they have burglary or something, who do they call?

Have a bike(pushbike)pubcrawl in this area for thirty years now,was yesterday, starts at 9.00am till comatose, goes out to Normanby along state highway,at least it's usually around 11ish and sober, came home from work and as approaching the pub was warned to slow by people of Normanby doing marshalling job,as I drove past the pub towards Hawera a cop car approached, then another then another, and then the paddy wagon, shit was about 12.30 and causing shit at that time, went to Wanganui and when arrived back about 6ish they had made the township and reasonably well behaved.About 600 or so on it,talk about pissed people, still only for 1 day.If you want a bike for kids last night is a good time to find them in hedges, discarded along the way.

There are still some badges left over so if anyone missed out on one, send me a PM. $5 each - can bring them along to CDMTC club nights or give them to someone in Palmy if necessary. They WILL become a collector's item so be in quick!

Considering each year's badge is a different colour AND has the year stamped on the bottom, I doubt we would sell very many of the 2007 ones in 2008!
