Would've been awesome, and apparently it was. One chap from Scotland paid GBP150,000 for his ticket in a charity auction.
I am awaiting the inevitable DVD release. Wont be as good as being there of course.
All the reviews Ive read say that they can still kick out the jams with the best of them

IF they tour, and get to Australia, I'm there. dont care what it costs, or when it is, I'm there (not if it costs me the thick end of half a million NZD though)

Was talk about a world tour next year.
Could be ideal at Np bowl or mission vineyard.
Hello officer put it on my tab
Don't steal the government hates competition.
Pretty decent tracklist: I would have liked to see Immigrant Song in there but still:
'Good Times Bad Times'
'Ramble On'
'Black Dog'
'In My Time Of Dying'
'For Your Life'
'Trampled Under Foot'
'Nobody's Fault But Mine'
'No Quarter'
'Since I've Been Loving You'
'Dazed And Confused'
'Stairway To Heaven'
'The Song Remains The Same'
'Misty Mountain Hop'
'Kashmir'
'Whole Lotta Love'
'Rock And Roll'

They missed "Immigrant Song" as mentioned & "All of my Love"???
Apparently Jimmy Page yesterday showed why he is considered one of the best if not THE best guitarists known to man kind.
Would dearly love to hear "No Quarter" live. The live recording of it from the "Song Remains the Same" album is insane, goes for 13+ mins in which Jimmy goes off on a guitar solo tangent which im convinced is fuelled by at least one tab of acid
However I did make it to the Elton John concert last Thursday at the Bowl here in New Plymouth. Old rockers just get better with age, he was fantastic, captain fantastic![]()
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
