Topless protest ride planned by porn performers

Five foreign porn performers plan to ride topless down Auckland's main street tomorrow in a lunchtime protest against New Zealand's nudity laws.

Protest organisers say the present situation is unfair in that men can bare their chests in public, but exposure of the female breast is deemed objectionable or obscene.

The five actresses, who are in the country for the annual Erotica Expo at the Auckland Showgrounds this weekend, will ride down Queen St on the back of motorbikes.

New Zealand adult film-maker Steve Crow is behind the protest and a spokeswoman said he was not expecting authorities to try to stop it.

"His partner is a policewoman and he was aware there could be some problems, so he rang police to warn them," she said. "They told him they would turn a blind eye."

So I guess they will be on Harleys. Well I'll be down there at lunch time with my camera. Purely to cover this motorbike event of cause

and of course this has nothing to do with publicising the Erotic show does it?

Hope they don't slip on some diesel, gravel rash on the nipples would be pretty gruesome.
