You got me interested as I heard of that too. I think its an offshoot of Post Classic maybe??? I am sure I came across them on the web but couldn't see anything on a Google search just now. Check out

or perhaps Classic rules. Check out thier rules here.
There must be someone local who knows as I believe there are some active CAMS riders based in ChCh anyway.

Classic Action Motorcycles (I think) and they cater for racing anything up to 1982 with classes like pre63/72/82
"If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough power."

CAMS= Classic Action Motorcycle Sport, cater for Classics pre 63 to their own rules, allowing Japanese parts unlike the Classic register in the North Island that only allow non jap parts. CAMS also cater for Post Classic pre 1972 and pre 1982 as per MNZ rules. They run club races at Teretonga, Levels and Ruapuna, as well as having a hand in the Burt Munro Challenge at Wyndham, also they go to the Greymouth street races, Port Nelson etc. PO Box 16335 Chch or phone Rob Antonovich 03 382 1175. Next race meeting Sat 15 Dec at Ruapuna, 9 am kickoff.

Now that sounds cool! Anybody got a suitable (CHEAP) prospect for a CAMS or Post Classic racer rusting slowly away in the garage and want rid of it???
If so please PM me (so nobody poaches it before I can). I am only capable of moderate mechanical deeds so going or near going would be a good start.
