There is gas at Pongaroa if the shop is open. Not sure what your range is but I'll easily do the whole ride from Ashhurst on a tank. If you can do 200k's or more you should be right to get back to Danniverke if you have a full tank at Ashhurst.

Betsy's range is normally about 180 before hitting reserve .. I got from woodville to the beach & back to dannivegas with no probs

yes,im getting a few remarks lately about my age lol , its not fair

well most bikes older than 2000 i would have no knowledge about ,im one of the next gen kids lol that ride electrical nightmares

Yeah, don't hassle two-smokers, my RG was a real hum-dinger (or should that be ring-dinger-ding-ding?)

Have ridden an old RD250 & I think it was an RZ350 and also test rode an MVX250 (Honda V3) which was truely horrible.
