And personally after being in one and having a good look at one, they are pretty mint and far better than anything else we have had... the armour is upgradeable (yes it wont take on a main battle tank but its not designed for that) it will stop dead a 7.62mm round, the 30mm cannon is accurate to over 1500m, it has full audio and visual aids for ALL of the troops in the LAV, and it even has aircon and a microwave....

The highlight for me last year was a gyrocopter they had there. It was powered by a mazda rotary (13b turbo) engine. Very cool.
...and a 6-disc stacker/mp3 player, pull-down sunglasses holder, electric adjustable seats and a bum warmer...Originally Posted by Two Smoker
I'm with KK... the last few years have been a waste of money for me due to the large absence of any decent bikes other than whats already in the show rooms (the notable exception being the B-King concept) so it might be better this year.. but with only one free beer its hard to see the value
Ill give it a miss, Been before thought it was crap. I can go walk round Harvey Norman to look at the same stereo gear. I did like looking at the Lambos but once is enough. BUT WHATS THE FREE BEER, I never got a free beer. HELL I MISSED FREE BEER. (%$^@$# $#@$^$ 3^$$*#@)
The bikes maybe worth going and looking, hmmmmmm, and scab up my FREE BEER. I wonder if I can get more than one as I missed out lst time.

The art of being wise is knowing what to overlook.
If you wanta look at Lambos, just mosey on up to Gt North Rd. Theres a showroom full of the suckers, plus the odd Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martins etc. And its free.Originally Posted by Judderbar
