    FS: 1987 GF250 Special

has 49000km on the clock. Pretty much mint cond really. Bit of paint wear other than that a really nice bike. Seems to have new pads all round, just been serviced to get it into good running order, but either needs to be run in nicely or tuned as it hasnt been rode for about 6mths. Comes with wof, reg if you pay. Almost new tires front and back.

    Spares including:
front and rear wheel with newish tread (prob worth $300 alone). Tank, fairings, lights, electrical lume, exhaust, swing arm, airbox and few other pieces.

Looking for $2000 for a good sale, but willing to negotiate.
Need the money for my ZXR :cool2:

Farkin good little bikes these. When they're well tuned. A bit more comfortable than the more common 250 multis around but every bit as quick.

I had a "Special". They're the Silver and White ones with the single seat eh?

Yeah well, I had one built from a box of bits and fuck me that thing used to go well.

Good bike for someone wanting a slightly different styled 250.

And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

How fast would this bike go? Does it have any mechanical problems? Im interested in getting a 250 but want to keep up with my mates with CBR250RR's and ZXR250. Thanks

i can keep up with my mate on his CBR assuming he does rape the hell out of it, its more suited for two up pulling power, kinda like the ZZR. I've had mine doing 170km but that was as fast as it would go, i.e nothing more left.

It kept up with two smokes RGV up til just under 100 so assuming that your mates arent insane speeders you should be sweet.

Mechanical wise it dont have any probs that are serious. The front brakes are a lil stiff (just need a lube), and i got a spare console to replace the current one (temp gauge, high beam warning light and 80km+ light not working).
