Basically go and buy the new Panasonic PT-AX200, for around $2500 it can't be bettered. Great images, easy to set up and 1280 x 720 resolution with excellent contrast.
I know what I'm talking about!
Thanks for the advice here Mate - good to have some experts on the Team, sounds like a bunch of value. I'm going to make provision (wiring) in my new house for such a beast, how do you work out the distance from the screen it needs to be? Also, optimum size of wall/screen? Cheers in advance

No worries Shafty, here's a keenly written bit of info regarding screen sizes and aspect ratios blah blah

It's an interesting couch spud Xmas for me this year, not only do I have the new Epson EMP-TW2000, I've also got the Panasonic PT-AE2000 and Sanyo PLV-Z2000 for review at home.
And tomorrow I'll be picking up the Infocus IN82 DLP projector - yes 4 1080 x 1920 projectors to wax on about!!
Luckily I've got a Samsung Blu-Ray player to test the Hi-def capabilities eh!

If you're wanting to go 1080P, Epson are running out their EMP-TW1000 at $3995 - it's a real beauty at that price...

So, who needs a toilet door or washbasin when you've got a 4m-wide screen and 1080P projector in your lounge, eh?
hmmmm, wonder if that'd work with my wife....
