10 reasons why you can't beat Wellington even on a windy day

I'm not ashamed to say I'm a real Wellington man. I love this place despite the wind and the sometimes cooler climate. But in my opinion this just adds to what it takes to be a Wellingtonian.
I really do feel sorry for everyone one else in this fine country that doesn't live in a place where the geography doesn't lend itself to what you'll see in the following photos.
I'm no photographer (I ain't a photograhers asshole) but I know what I like.
None of the following have been altered in any way and all have been taken with a fairly inexpensive digital camera with no lense effects or filters.
So please have a look at what I've managed to capture from just outside our lounge (apart form the ones from the top of Mt Kau Kau, gotta love doing work for BCL He he!)

As someone who watches the weather I never get sick of what happens here in the Welly (apart form those pesky localised northerlies that spill all that low level oregraphic cloud of the top of Colonial Knob and chill the hottest summer day unitil you need a jersey!)
The Southwesters produce the best photo's from this wee collection. The mountains of the Nelson lakes and Marlborough region produce the most phenomenal lenticular cloud formations and if you catch them at the right time the results are stunning.

Na i'm not that hardcore. I've got a friend who manages a farm out there and he lets me have the odd hunt for goats

Thats's cool Sarge, next time you come here give me a yell .These places are much better seen with your own eyes. I must admit to being rather privileged to have the access to the places around her I get to go, but even more privileged just to live in this fine city!
