    cbr250rr

    Hey everyone,

looking for a new bike, got my eye on a 92 CBR250RR.

Anyhow, my question is to those with such a bike - whats life like commuting on one if these? 20min through traffic daily?

Whats to look out for - any comon problems etc?

And is there a good site (in English) with details on the differences between all the models, and r/rr/rrn etc?

I used to commute from Browns Bay to the city on my ZXR250 which is pretty similar riding position. It's about 35mins if splitting most of the way. Didn't have any problems.

Was a bit cramped on hour plus rides but not too bad. I'm 6' 75kg if that's any help.

They're not an ideal commuting bike but certainly do-able. A Hornet or Bandit would be better around town. The CBR/ZXR makes up for it if you get out of the city enough though

I said that only on a ridgeline in a severe wind warning. Besides, after that I could handle any winds!

As for the healing, great methinks.Cast comes off on friday.

And on saturday, with two broken arms, I was able to drive my cage all the way down to ohakune. (and still txt whilst driving!)

Can't ride just yet, the ol arms are still in plaster.

Don't get me wrong, i love the 2smoker smell - and always put myself behind them on group rides,
but for my daily needs, im after a 4stroke.

It is a good bike. No problems in commuting. Pulls fast round bends and has a top speed of 180km/h. Great first bike to learn before jumping to a 600
