Well sir, what can anyone say other than........

(in an upper class pommy accent) "Boo sucks to you Fritzy" (stolen line from Blackadder 4)

You have to admire the human spirit to go on after such a horrific accident

    *Tips hat*

All the best Shaun, you have the full love & support of the KB'er community by the looks of it. We all live in hope that you will come home with the top spot but at the end of the day just getting back on the horse is a victory in itself.

Your a winner & will always be

ps: pissed I missed going to the track day with you a few weeks back. Mad keen on going to the next one, be sure to PM me if your going again

To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

I'd usually try to find something a little more poetic, but I'll just settle for saying: go for it, dude - you've got the unquestioning support of the 'community' behind you.

I personally don't get the whole racing thing really, don't have that competitive drive. But having also shattered my pelvis and many other bits crashing a bike, I know what it's like to try quittin bikes only to be driven mad by the neeeed to get back on. Your a biker, it's who you are, and your a racer, it's what you do. You don't need anyone's permission to carry on doing what drives you in life. If you worked in a factory and a crate fell on your head, no one would question you returning to work at the factory, so why should they question you returning to racing bikes?

Hat's off to your wife, she must really love you for who you are.
Go hard Shaun, may you acheive all you want, and may you come home safe.

Well done Shaun, as you know mindset is the biggest hurdle.
You've obviously overcome this as I know you wouldn't consider this if you hadn't.
Big ups to you, hopefully we'll catch up soon.

Have I told you how much I HATE you mr Harris? (kidding)
Frosty is going to read this you know that dont you?
You are the man who suggested it was time he hung his leathers up.
I couldn't figure out why he's been especially grumpy lately, Then I remembered this is the start of the racing season and he wont be racing.

Shaun I admire you even more than I did before and I admire you alot,

I never thought I would hear of you racing a bike again let alone going back to the Island,

A few people would think your crazy but I know what it's like being a racer to you cant give up something you love and live for,

So I say go for it..

    Awsome stuff.

just a thought/idea, you should reserve space on something like the tail piece, and make it a $100 or more donation to sign on a small spot of it, taking kiwi names round the TT.
However, I don't know if you'd get more sponsor ship money from company names on it.. hasn't something like that been done before?

Re permission, YES Fiona my wife is aware this is happening, not 100% happy, as would be expected, but as per usual, full of love and support for me and my goals!

We have discovered a major part of my mind set difficulties of late, are due to the fact that I had retired as a racer, I am a petrol head, and will always be a petrol head, so now I have addmitted to myself that bikes are my life, I have made my life BIKES from now on , Simple really. I love them, and the community like on here
I can fully understand that Shaun. Nearly sold mine twice and even at the thought of seliing it I was getting crabby. Riding bikes keeps you focussed, keeps you young, improves reactions and alertness and is an awesome stress reliever

Good on ya. Hope it all comes together. Man you deserve it.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.
